In this book, a modern unified theory of dispersion forces on atoms and bodies is presented which covers a broad range of different aspects and scenarios. Macroscopic quantum electrodynamics is applied within the context of dispersion forces. In contrast to the normal-mode quantum electrodynamics traditionally used to study dispersion forces, the new approach allows to consider realistic material properties including absorption and is flexible enough to be applied to a broad range of geometries. Thus general properties of dispersion forces like their non-additivity and the relation between microscopic and macroscopic dispersion forces are discussed. It is demonstrated how the general results can be used to obtain dispersion forces on atoms in the presence of bodies of various shapes and materials. In particular, nontrivial magnetic properties of the bodies, bodies of irregular shapes, the role of material absorption, and dynamical forces for excited atoms are discussed. This volume 2 deals especially with quantum electrodynamics, dispersion forces, Casimir forces, asymptotic power laws, quantum friction and universal scaling laws. The book gives both the specialist and those new to the field a thorough overview over recent results in the context of dispersion forces. It provides a toolbox for studying dispersion forces in various contexts.

Assuming that rural population of Rwanda almost agricultural knows a precariousness of its productive assets specifically cultivable land. And that their organizational mode is not adapted in order to help them enjoying a sustainable socio-economic life. My main objective is to understand the magnitude of this landless and the fragility s degree of this organizational mode. I made an exploratory survey to verify four assumptions: (i) The rural population of Rwanda lives an excessive landless accompanying by a high fragmentation, (ii) This landless increases by generations to generations, (iii) In these circumstances, this operator lives an organizational mode based primarily to individualism which does not allow him to fully enjoy its physical, moral and intellectual forces, (iv) Its socio cultural environment is not hostile to cooperative mode that allowed to overcome challenges in time and space such as those uncounted by Rwandan rural population. The analysis of my findings allowed me to confirm those four assumptions and I have reached my goal. My research result is brought to knowledge of many readers, various speakers and decision-makers.

Sloshing liquid fuel induces additional forces and moments which affect the performance. Vehicle dynamics coupled with liquid fuel slosh dynamics represents a broder class of underactuated systems. This coupled nonlinear system has been considered for the development of output feedback control using sliding modes. A sliding mode control (SMC) is one of the robust control approaches which yields robust performance against model inaccuracies and uncertainties. Design of SMC includes design of the hyperplane to yield the desired closed-loop performance and the controller synthesis to confine the states on the designed hyperplane. This book addresses novel approaches of designing the hyperplane together with the synthesis of the appropriate control law for the slosh problem in continuous and discrete both. Proposed state based control algorithms are extended for output feedback control using sliding mode high gain observer. Discrete sliding mode observer and a fast output feedback techniques are also illustrated for the development of discrete output feedback control. Experimental validation of few of the algorithms is also presented.
